Sralanh Project

Welcome to the Sralanh Project

Love like family. Serve with dignity.

In a quiet village in rural Cambodia, a child wakes up with a dream — not of riches or fame, but simply of going to school. Of learning new words. Of feeling seen, included, and hopeful.

At Sralanh Project, we exist to make that dream possible.

The word “Sralanh” (ស្រឡាញ់) means to love in Khmer. But it’s more than a word to us — it’s the foundation of everything we do. We believe that every child deserves a chance to learn, grow, and thrive, no matter where they’re born or how much money their family has.

We’re a small, heart-led nonprofit based in the U.S., working side-by-side with local leaders in Cambodia to create lasting change through love, education, and community support.

What We Do

Our core mission is simple but powerful:
To provide free English classes to children in rural Cambodia, opening doors to opportunity and confidence.

But learning doesn’t happen in isolation. So we also support:

  • School supplies and teacher support
  • Clean water and sanitation solutions (where needed)
  • Community-driven projects that uplift families with dignity

Why It Matters

In many villages, children drop out of school not because they don’t want to learn — but because they can’t afford a school uniform. Because they’re walking miles for water. Because they’re scavenging for recyclables to help their families survive.

We want to change that.
One child. One class. One village at a time.

How We Work

We don’t do this alone — and we don’t fly in foreign staff to “fix” things.
All of our international team is 100% volunteer.
All paid roles are filled by local Cambodian staff, fairly and respectfully.

Every donation we receive goes directly to the ground — to classrooms, teachers, students, and families who need it most. And yes, it’s 100% tax-deductible in the U.S. and where allowed by law.

Join Us

Whether you give, volunteer, or simply share our story, you are part of something deeply human and truly hopeful.

Because when we choose to love like family — everything can change.

Welcome to the Sralanh Project.
Let’s build brighter futures, together. ❤️
